The new OSRAM LEDguardian® TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 is an LED warning light that can be carried in the vehicle and used in the event of a broken down vehicle in Germany²) is mandatory. In addition, the TRUCK FLARE from OSRAM also meets the requirements specified in the technical requirements of the StVZO (TA 19). These state that the warning light must meet the following characteristics: An orange flashing light, an uninterrupted operating time of at least 15 hours, a flashing frequency of 1.5 Hz ± 0.5 Hz ≙ 90 ± pulses per minute and a dynamic pressure of 21 kg/ m² ≙ wind force 9 . Only the lights that meet these requirements are officially approved for use on roads. The TRUCK FLARE from OSRAM significantly exceeds these requirements, for example with an uninterrupted runtime of up to 50 hours. In the event of a breakdown or accident, the warning light must be placed next to the warning triangle to identify the danger point and switched on. Its use is not mandatory for vehicles ≤ 3.5t, but is of course possible and recommended for the safety of all road users.

The flashing orange warning light function of the OSRAM LEDguardian® TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 is visible from a great distance and can be used in an emergency to provide crucial information about a dangerous traffic situation. In addition to the warning triangle, it alerts other road users to a possible dangerous situation in road traffic by actively flashing, compared to simple reflections such as a warning triangle. With 6 long-lasting, bright, high-performance LEDs, you can draw attention to yourself day and night and also warn other road users of a dangerous situation, such as a broken down vehicle in traffic, and warn them in advance. The TRUCK FLARE can also serve as a flashlight; Here, too, 6 bright, long-lasting high-performance LEDs are used and enable additional applications such as a work or inspection light. The compact design means that the warning light can be stored within easy reach in the vehicle and, if necessary, can be quickly and easily set up directly next to the warning triangle using the folding, robust and non-slip feet. Another advantage is that the OSRAM LEDguardian® TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 is immediately ready for operation thanks to the batteries included in the scope of delivery.

The LEDguardian® TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 was certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO /IEC 17025 Environmental simulation laboratory tested and validated for extreme external influences in terms of water, dust, heat, cold and shock from falls. With protection class IP54, the OSRAM LEDguardian® TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 is resistant to the ingress of water and dust and with protection class IK06 it is also insensitive to shocks and impacts.
